Thank you for stopping by to check us out!! I'd like to take a moment here to share a little background on how it all started…
First, it's so nice to meet you! I'm Kelli Dietze, the Co-owner of Dietze Designz. I run our shop alongside my husband Corey, and daughter Emma. Together, we are Dietze Designz.
Back in 2018 I started making a few things here and there with a friend who had a Cricut machine. One day she brought it over and showed me how amazing it worked. During this time, I was preparing for life changing surgery, so I decided to pursue this as a mental distraction from the surgery which was much needed.
I jumped on the Cricut band wagon very quickly, and we began making Christmas ornaments, wine glasses, Santa plates - and so much more! We had a blast and that left me to wanting more. So, I decided it was time to learn how to do layering, how to use the different settings - and the next thing you know, I am looking for a heat press! Much to my surprise, Corey and Emma purchased a commercial 48 inch plotter\cutter for my birthday, and that's when I got serious and started working towards the next steps.
As I continue my journey, I encountered different challenges such as figuring out where to source supplies locally, learning new tips and tricks, and finding the products that give you the best results.
My biggest opportunity to improve personally was the amount of time l was spending on projects looking for materials. As we all know the best part of the project is the hands on and customers smile 😊.
Fast forward to 2020, when we experience a pandemic and while I had more time on my hands, there was a lack of supply availability online and no curbside pick up. So, we decided as a family it was time to fill this void and take the next steps to provide both of these services and so much more - the type of products and services fellow local crafters deserve.
With that - I hope you've learned a little about our family, history, and our shop. We look forward to doing business with you!
